Old cobblestones from a European street are shipped to an American driveway. The joints are filled with fractured aggregate #8 or #9 for permeable drainage.
Installation can be in a dry pack sand bed or traditional wet mortar. Joint filling with either polymeric sand, or fractured aggregate #8 or #9.
The vineyard and the granite cobblestones compliment each other. Here the client used a gray taupe with a hint of burgundy size 7-8×5-6×5-6” on the driveway.
The client was looking to blend a very modern house with a piece of Europe. The outcome was successful with these cobblestones in Taupe/Gray with a hint of Burgundy.
